Often any time that a person is shot and killed during the commission of a felony, they are typically not charged or even convicted. But as I read over the circumstances surround the case of Diren Dede, I could see the reason why Dede’s killer, Markus Kaarma, was sentenced in this case. The circumstances surrounding the killing of Dede is despicable in that several witnesses testified that Kaarma told them that he was up for the last couple of nights with a shotgun wanting to kill some kids and saying that he was going to shoot burglars and he was not kidding.
